H is now able to sleep without being fed to sleep. This means that me and M (husband) can now put her to bed and she isn't completely reliant on me.

Q What problem did I solve for you?


My kids were taking over an hour to sleep every night and both were waking and coming into my bed. With a new baby on the way, I desperately wanted bedtime to be shorter and less chaotic and also not have them both in my bed every night.

'The bedtime routine we decided on worked wonders for my kids. Both are more relaxed at bedtime and fall asleep within 15 minutes! This has been consistent for months now.

My eldest will sleep through the night, every night now. My youngest will still come through, but we have the tools needed to encourage this to stop when we choose. For now, we are ok with this as he is only two and hasn’t been sleeping away from me for very long. He has been coming through later and later though, and this morning he came through at 05.15. So perhaps, this is the beginning of him learning to sleep through the night :)'

Q What problem did I solve for you?

Frequent night wakes and a poor nap schedule

'A now sleeps 7pm - 7am without waking up to the point of us needing to go in. He's so much more capable of rolling over and getting himself back to sleep, and also removed all night feeds. Much better nap routine that works for A.

Lynsey was incredibly friendly, welcoming and available whenever we had questions or even just to check in. She quickly understood A's routine and sleep needs at home and nursery so we were able to incorporate the realistic changes very quickly, none of which were difficult or distressing. She helped us establish a two-nap routine and the transition to one nap successfully. The combination of better day naps and advice for throughout the night has resulted in a happy boy going 12 hours without intervention from us or wanting a bottle, and he can comfortably roll over and go back to sleep himself. We couldn't be more grateful, and would highly recommend The Empowered Parent to anyone!'
