The benefit of working with toddlers on sleep is increased communication
Between the ages of 2 - 7, sleep is more behavioural and focused on relationships and trust.
A great way to support your toddler/ child’s bedtime is role play away from bedtime, which set the boundaries in place
Pick some time during the day to role play what happens at bedtime, where your child can tell you what to do, i.e brush your teeth, 1 x story , tuck yourself up and lights out.
Focus on helping your little one do as much by themselves, i.e. being able to sort their duvet during the night.
Make sure to have lots of fun with it too, so your child has a good association with bedtime too!
If you found this useful, I’d love for you to like, share and save!
